I haven't had the time to keep up w/ this Blog like I would like to so I wanted to do a quick update about the Podcast!
My Brother and I have recorded 5 shows so far including one "two parter!" We have had a blast and Kevin is working hard to edit the shows and so on. We have tried to keep them around 40 minutes, but we tend to ramble. We are planning to do a Halloween episode before the month is up and likely kick things off w/ that then follow it up w/ "the origin of the Super Five." (Kevin doesn't know this yet)
The point of the show is to get people as excited about things like film (mainly) comics, music, sports, general pop culture and life as we can. We have a lot to say about these subjects because they are our passions! Also, we want to inspire creativity of any kind so we want to eventually have guests on the show! We have an "everybody is somebody" attitude as well and definitely want to have a large variety of people sit w/ us and share their story and opinions w/ our listeners! (our mom)
We believe that people will enjoy what we are trying to make, but remember things tend to get better the more you do them. Shows like The Wire and Arrested Development started off as a bit of a slow burn but became very special as you got deeper into the seasons. The Super Five is a humble podcast but we will strive to make it the best show we can! So grow w/ us and get ready for some fun up coming shows!
But for now...Be kind to each other!
